Tax Time Creates A New Season Of Giving
To Support Our Work
to make a big difference in your community.
If you’re due a state income tax refund, this state program gives you the opportunity to use some or all of it to directly support a local nonprofit that matters to you like Energy Outreach Colorado.
The new program, promoted through the ReFUND CO awareness initiative, lets you choose where your donation goes. All you have to do is:
- Decide how much of your state income tax refund to donate (all or a portion of it).
- Enter Energy Outreach Colorado and our registration number 20023003181 in the Donate to a Colorado Nonprofit Fund line on your state tax return or tax software – or give just give this info to your tax preparer when you share your tax documents.
Last year, Colorado returned more than $1 billion in refunds to 1.9 million state taxpayers. Imagine how much this could support local community causes like us across Colorado.
Because our important work is never done, we’re always in need of new funds to revitalize our organization and recharge our work. ReFUND CO shows you how you can support our mission at a critical time of the year.

Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and under the laws of the State of Colorado encourages the solicitation and acceptance of current and deferred gifts for purposes that will help EOC continue and further it’s mission.
